Driving down the 90-mile beach

On Saturday we went all the way up to Cape Reigna and on our way back we’ve taken the route down the Te Paki stream and then around 60 km down the 90-mile beach. Driving through the river bed is awsome but driving 120 km/h on a flat like table beach is even cooler…
Not everyone was as lucky as us.

That’s a 4×4 ride, idiot!

We just had a short discussion about buttons on phones. The IP terminals in our office have a DND button, but when You come to the office on your day off and the phone starts ringing that button should be called F… Off And Die. Well, at least one Pom thinks so…
Sometimes there comes a day when You decide to buy something expensive, say camera. In order to make a good decision You google around, read lots of reviews, compare prices, technical specifications and so on and so forth. And what? You come to a clear conclusion that You have not enough money or that there are at least 4 products that perfectly match your needs/budget. Why does it happen? Beacause we rationalize to much. In that case the final point has to be irrational.
That said, to make things easier for some people: Canon is gay, and not in a good way…

It’s nice to have a decent camera with exchangable lenses… It is also very nice of Nikon that I can still use my old lens with the latest camera.
